Acetylcysteine Dosage

Age: children with weight 20-40 kg dosage: As the early dose, 150 mg/kgBB dissolved in 100 mL of liquid, for 60 minutes. Continue with a dose of 50 mg/kg dissolved in 250 mL of liquid, for 4 hours.
Continue back with 100 mg/kg/W dissolved in liquid 500 mL, for 16 hours.

Age: children with a weight below 20 kg dosage: As the initial dose of 150 mg/infusion, kgBB dissolved in liquid 3 mL/kgBB, during 60 minutes. Continue with a dose of 50 mg/kgBB dissolved in liquid 7 mL/kgBB, for 4 hours.
Next 100 mg/kgBB dissolved in fluid 14 mL/kgBB, for 16 hours.


Use of Acetylcysteine correctly
